Westchase, founded in 1991, is a luxurious planned community located between Tampa and Clearwaterin Hillsborough County. It has around 22,000 residents and is one of the most affluent subdivisions the Tampa area. The community also includes The Westchase Golf Course, which is on of the most popular places to relax and socialize.
Westchase experienced dramatic growth over the last decade or so, nearly doubled its population. Currently, there are over 9,000 households and the median income for a household in the community is $88,964. The median home value is about $326,200.

West Park, one of the villages in Westchase, has two town centers. The town centers is a lively spot, housing some of Tampa’s highest-rated shops, bars, and restaurants. Residents can easily access it on foot or golf cart.
The design of the Village, which includes condos, townhomes, villages, homes and apartments, was influenced by historic Hyde Park in South Tampa.
The area has a popular Summer Concert Series and there’s always something happening at the different village restaurants and bars. Another big attraction in Westchase is Tampa Bay Downs Horse Racetrack. Recently, Travel + Leisure ranked Westchase as the 26th coolest suburb worth visiting.
